Shiley Disposable Decannulation Plug

Description

Shiley Disposable Decannulation Plug is to be used with Disposable Inner Cannula Fenestrated Low-Pressure Cuffed Tracheostomy Tube (DFEN), Disposable Inner Cannula Cuffless Tracheostomy Tube (DCFS), Disposable Inner Cannula Cuffless Fenestrated Tracheostomy Tube (DCFN). It closes the proximal end of the  tracheostomy tube to permit breathing through the fenestration and the upper airway.

Features of Shiley Tracheostomy Plugs

• Latex-free disposable decannulation plug (DCP)
• DCP closes the nearby end of FEN and CFN
• Decannulation plug disposable (DDCP) shuts the proximal end of DCFS, DCFN, and DFEN
• 15 mm Shiley White Cap (CAP) attaches to the Shiley pediatric tracheostomy tubes or the Shiley inner cannula fenestrated (with a 15 mm connector)
• Shiley Disposable Decannulation Plug is to be used with size 8 tracheostomy tube only
