Atos Medical Provox Adhesive Remover Wipes is used to help laryngectomized patients remove Provox Adhesives and Provox Silicone Glue. It helps you remove the adhesive. Use them to make your adhesive easier to pull off. It is a non-sterile and for single use only. This adhesive remover is a wipe that will help make it easier to take off the adhesive at the end of the day. It’s important to remove the adhesive slowly and carefully, to avoid damaging the skin, this remover wipe helps to do this.

How to use Atos Medical 8012 Adhesive Remover?

• When using a Provox FlexiDerm, Provox XtraBase, or Provox StabiliBase, first apply the Provox Adhesive Remover on top of the adhesive
• This is not necessary for the other adhesives. Then, for all Provox adhesives, grasp the finger lift tab and apply Provox Adhesive Remover on the edge and underneath the adhesive.
• Carefully remove the adhesive and adhesive residue from the skin
• Clean the skin with water and soap or use Provox Cleaning Towel afterwards

Contraindications: Hypersensitive or breached skin or known allergies to ingredients

Precautions: 

• Avoid deep inhalation of solvent during application and be careful that liquid does not drip into stoma
• In case you experience signs of irritation or redness, discontinue use of product. If the irritation persists, consult your physician.

Warnings:

• For external use only
• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid contact with eyes. In the case of accidental contact, flush eyes well with water
• Do not apply directly to open wounds and mucous membranes
• Single patient use only. Re-use may cause cross contamination
• Do not cut the tissue in pieces, small pieces may be aspirated
